Collab with Team HESH: Automotive Restoration Video Editing Partnership

A little while back, the guy behind Team HESH found this very site, reached out, and—surprise—we were local. We met up, hit it off immediately: same appreciation for humor, same love for some hyperspecific wavelengths of nostalgia, including the most important one—cars.

He’s got a million video ideas but only so many hours, so now Video Paradise is stepping in to help bring some of them to life. I’m not a gearhead by any stretch, but editing his stuff has been a crash course in automotive stuff—and it’s been rad learning as I go.

What started as a one-off collab has turned into a full-blown automotive restoration video editing partnership, with a couple projects out the door already and more in the hopper. You can check them out and a ton more on the Team HESH channel.

Our first major project together just dropped: a longer piece about him finding and fixing up a barn-find 1984 Ford Escort Diesel. It was a fun creative challenge (he knows his sh*t, I do not), but I’m proud of how it came out—it's pretty funny and somewhat engaging. And you might learn something! Edutainment!
